Our Black Pepper and Sea Salt flavor beef jerky was one of the original four flavors we started with in 2010. As you can imagine, we were super proud that it was crowned the first place BEST JERKY in AMERICA final winner. Since the competition included 64 brands of jerky… it is quite an accomplishment that served as milestone in our company that set the standard for all flavors that followed. Jeff personally works relentlessly on every new flavor and you would think he would begin to run out of ideas, but the truth is he always has at least four to five new flavor ideas he is considering at all times.

“…It’s really the marinade and flavorings that makes this jerky so enjoyable. The spiciness is not so much heat, but just a bold set of seasonings that might build up some heat if you’re not used to spicy foods. Add to that a light natural meat flavor with a touch of fatty flavor, along with a semi-moist, steak-like chewing, and it seems to create a lot of snackability for me… I give this a BEST FIVE STAR rating.”
