The story of this flavor began in about 2013 when Jeff first tried a Cranberry Jalapeno jelly at a local farmer’s market. His refined pallet immediately knew this would make a really unique and terrific beef jerky flavor. He went home and created the marinade on paper and without even making a test batch of the marinade; he sent off a fairly complicated recipe to the jerky plant for a test production. The resulting flavor and soft texture of the finished product was absolute perfection without any modifications. A few months later it went into real production and the rest is history. This flavor remains one of our top sellers today. Don’t be afraid of a slight hint of jalapeno… everyone who tries it loves it.

Best beef jerky I ever had. When I open a bag of Cranberry jalapeno I can’t put it down, it’s gone in minutes, it’s got that mildly hot sweet flavor that I love, it’s so good.

This stuff is like candy. Such a great sweetness with a hint of jalapeno flavor (not much heat at all). I bought some up in the mountains one time and had finished the entire bag before I got down the mountain (probably about 30 minutes or so). I didn’t even realize I had eaten the whole bag until I reached for more and there was none.

I love beef jerky and have eaten it all my life. A few years ago I had to give it up because the sodium content was too high. I sorely missed it. And then the other day my grown son and I found this site and decided to order a variety of jerky flavors. Once I tasted this, I LOVED it! It is so good and the combination of sweet and jalapeno is perfect! And the sodium? Wow! Almost none!!!

WoW, another one on my fav’s list! I LOVE the balance of heat & sweet with a good soft chew that just lasts and lasts and lasts! This is easily one of my favorite flavors from Jeff’s Famous Jerky. The smell, the texture… I mean, when you open a bag of Jeff’s jerky take a close look at the depth of seasoning. Not on the jerky, but in it! That’s what I love in a great quality jerky. Recommended and an easy five stars!
